ANGEL LOGAN

PUBLISHED AUTHOR | PROFESSIONAL WRITER

As her own entourage, Angel Logan, Published Author has worn several different hats, while establishing her name within the literary industry. Proud to be an (Indie) independent artist and a supporter of all Indie artists, Angel has assumed all roles necessary to market her first book, Wings of an Angel Poetry Collection.

Through her unique and free style of writing, Angel's objective is to share and to teach some of life's most beautiful lessons, while inspiring her readers to relinquish fear, embrace hope, and to believe in oneself. Angel's tag line as an author is:
A VISION INTO THE WINDOW OF LIFE TO HELP YOU FIND YOUR WINGS TO FLY!

Angel's dedication to her craft extends well beyond poetry writing into a variety of genre's, which is why Angel does not classify herself as a poet exclusively. Unlike many other writers of poetry, Angel does not memorize her written work, and rarely attends poetry readings. However, on the special occasions when she does attend a reading -- rather than performing her work, she maintains her own personal and simple style of reading, which her audiences seem to appreciate more.

Because of the high demand for Angel's writing skills, she has established a full-time profession providing commercial and personal writing services, while building a diverse group of short-term and ongoing, regional and national clientele. Angel's work has included promotional materials, biography profiles, speeches, articles, and online and print ad copy, along with an array of other large and small writing projects. Angel's clients have ranged from music artists to corporations, and small businesses to private individuals. Please send an email to Angel, to inquire about professional writing and editing services, rates, and terms and conditions of service.

With very little sleep, working each day, most evenings, and burning the midnight oil into the early morning hours -- Angel has handled all of her own administrative tasks, graphic design, web building and maintenance, marketing and promotion, and public relations for her professional writing business, as well as her accomplishments as a published author.

The following online, print, broadcast, and public forums have recognized and featured Angel and her written works through articles, interviews, and various public appearances:

Angel has received rave reviews for Wings of an Angel Poetry Collection, as well as a number of online awards for specific poems from her book. In addition, since September 2005, Angel has been writing "Serendipity" monthly email newsletter, which she sends to a subscribed list of readers. She developed her personal letter style newsletter as a small way to update her readers and friends, to stay in touch, and to share the personal and professional pearls of wisdom that she has acquired along her journey. To reach more readers, Angel also posts her newsletter into her blog each month. ANGEL'S BLOG

Angel's creative path has included a strong musical background as a flautist for many years, as well as a self-taught career in live musical sound engineering for over a decade. Along with her passion for music, Angel owned and operated her own wedding consulting business, Angelbells Wedding Consulting from 1998 to 2005.

For several years, Angel volunteered her time and efforts, as the Adjutant, Associate Membership Coordinator, and staff writer of a local U.S. Marine Corps League Detachment, in support of US Troops, their families, Veterans services and a variety of community related programs.

As if that was not enough, Angel's love for writing has kept her with pen-in-hand, as she has been working toward the completion of her first novel. Financing her own career as an independent artist, in conjunction with her demanding schedule -- Angel has delayed the publication of her novel. However, she looks forward to completing and releasing it in the not-so-distant future.

"A woman must have money and a room of her own if she is to write fiction."
~Virginia Woolf

Angel spent her childhood years in Wooster, Ohio, studied Liberal Arts, and received her degree from the University of Akron, in Akron Ohio. Shortly after, she moved to New England, where she met and married her husband Dana of twelve years. They have divided their time between their home in Waltham, MA and their getaway in Old Orchard Beach, ME since 1999. While Dana and Angel enjoy residing in Waltham, they also love Old Orchard Beach, where they go for their vacations in the summer, each year.

Angel also visits periodically throughout the year, to do some of her work. In fact, she composed many of the poems from Wings of an Angel during her visits to Maine. Angel has found great inspiration from the ocean, as well as from their many friends, who make Old Orchard Beach their "home away from home."

While Angel and her husband prefer to live a very private personal life, she does not mind show-casing her professional life as a published author and writer, in hopes to inspire other writers traveling along the same journey.

A few who live outside of the creative world may view the art of writing as a part-time endeavor or a mere recreational activity. However, for Angel, writing is much more than her passion -- it is a dream that has become a reality, and it is a lifelong commitment to the ultimate career!
